Proposal: Field Guide to Scorpions of Namibia

There is presently no comprehensive identification guide to Namibian scorpions. Scorpions are central to the experience of residents and visitors alike, with nearly 70 species recorded for the country. Some are medically important and many are unique, rare and range restricted.

Sponsorship is being sought to produce such a guide and fill this gap. A Namibian guide will follow the format and layout of the successful Scorpions of South Africa, by the same author and publisher, Struik Nature.
